Part 2 - Creative [Kre] - ay - [tiv]

What's going to happen???

“We know how you feel. This was how we felt on our first time going on the big screen.” Ashley said. “It’s nice to finally meet you, we’re both big fans.” Ashley said looking to me. Nikki nodded in agreement. “Thank you. I’m a big fan of both of you too.” I said smiling.

Once make - up and hair was done, it was on to wardrobe room, and then the set where we’d be taking some of the promotional pictures, and introducing me as Renesmee. I was the first one on the set. It was going to be ‘the Cullen’ Residence in the movie.

“Are you two ready?” I could hear the photographer ask. Taylor walked up next to me, and smiled. “I guess so. Do we have to wait for them?” I asked. “We’re going to do a few photos with just the two of you while we’re waiting, and once the rest of them leave, I’ll get back to work with you two.” He said. I nodded and followed Taylor.

It was so weird. We were already jumping into intimate pictures. I was proud to say I got to kiss him, very early in this great process.

A day done!

I was excited to get a jump on the training they had scheduled for me. The boys (Kellan, Jackson, Taylor, Alex and Chaske) were going to join me in my work out schedule, since it was going to be strenuous. After that, we’d start, and in all this time, I had to learn my lines, and work on music. It was going to be a long week.

“So, how’s it going?” Taylor asked walking in to the work out room. It had been a week, and it had been long. Real long. “I’m so good. How are you?” I asked looking to him from the treadmill. He smiled and dropped his jacket and water - bottle on the floor. “I guess slow and steady wins the race could be my motto for the day. I’m so tired.” He said.


“Amen! I am so tired too. I’ve been so busy. I think I’ve gotten three hours of sleep in the last three or four days.” I said. I yawned and gestured to my yawn. “Any insight on music?” he asked. “Yes, I think I’ve found a way to make the wolf pack’s theme greater. I’m going to the studio after this to work with some of the girls in the orchestra. You are more than welcome to come.” I said. “Wow, thanks. I’d love to. I was wondering. Dinner tonight? Maybe we could run lines after?” he said. “Sure, that sounds good.” I said smiling. I turned my attention to the script. I had a goal to have most of the page memorized by the time I was done running my ten miles. I had run over five, so almost four to go.

“Welcome. I’m so happy to be here today.” Jimmy said, laughing. The group laughed with him. “This famous author’s first saga, hit the world by storm, rating it one of the most popular movies in the world for its time. Yes, you know what we’re talking about. The newest Saga has done the same thing, I think even more. Please welcome out two very popular people, on screen couple Renesmee Cullen and Jacob black, you know them as Taylor Lautner and Acadia Johnson.” He said. The crowd cheered as we walked out. We quickly walked out and each took a turn being greeted by Jimmy. Once we sat down, it got started. “Welcome. How are you two?” he asked. He looked to me and smiled. “We’re good. It’s been a long trip. We’ve been from Vancouver, to LA for Ellen, Arizona and Dallas for two book signings, and then here. It’s been a long few days,” he answered. I nodded. “Now, I know what the truth is, but we just have to ask. Are you two dating?” Jimmy asked. “I mean, you’ve come out that you two are dating, yet it looks like you’re not even speaking to each other.” He said gesturing to the couch we were sharing. The crowd laughed, and then laughed as Taylor scooted closer to me. “You want proof?” Taylor asked. Jimmy nodded. “I do, I think we all want to see some glimmer of proof Taylor.” He said. The crowd started to chant – ‘Kiss, kiss, kiss,’ and Jimmy even joined in.

Taylor looked to me and smiled, and leaned over to kiss my cheek. I quickly turned and gave him a light peck on the lips, and then he sat closer to me, and put his arm around me. I pumped my fist excitedly.

“How’s production coming along? You’re almost ready for the premiere, aren’t you?” Jimmy asked. “We are, it’s coming up.” Taylor said. “Have you heard anything about a second movie, to follow the second book? Wow, that sounded a little redundant. Second movie?” he asked. “We are excited to tell everyone Renesmee’s Starlight is going to start pre production in about four to five months, hopefully. We’ve got to get cast and everything else.” I said. “Are you going to continue with the score?” he asked looking to me. “I am, I’m excited. I’ve got some good ideas, and I haven’t had a chance to pick up my guitar and pick everything out, but when I do, I’m going to start.” I said. “Who’s going to be directing?” he asked. I smiled and sort of looked down, so Taylor took that question. “Chris Weitz will be coming back, but Cadi will be helping out. Stephenie asked her to help.” Taylor said smiling. The group cheered and Jimmy tried to get a few words in. “Are you excited?” he finally asked. “Goodness, yes I am, but I’m also nervous. This is my first time really giving direction. I was just the actress and composer to the score of the movie, now it’s all of that, and you’re adding director. It’s a little nerve – racking.” I said. “What are your goals in helping make this movie?” he asked. “Well, I really want to make sure Stephenie Meyers is involved as much as she can be. Chris and I have been talking and we want to get some of the good dialogue involved in the book between the Volturi and Ness, the intimacy between Jacob and Ness. The bitterness that the family has toward Jacob. How protective the pack is over Ness. Small things that might get overlooked.” I said.

It's been an eventful week. I'll be finished with one class today...It was a block class so it's gone by fast, but i'm going to miss Lynn Poulson. He's the funniest teacher I've ever had...Yesterday was also the chorale concert at Snow...I was in the first choir, and we got to watch the rest of the choirs go after us. There was The A Capella choir, and Cadence, and they went after us. We all sang songs from movie soundtracks. Cadence sang songs, I've never heard, but they all sent chills up and down my spine, and legs, and arms.


I HAD GOOSEBUMPS more then you'll know...It was over all a great performance, and well...we didn't do too shabby...

Part 1 - Creative [Kre] - ay - [tiv]

This is a story of a girl named Acadia...

“Welcome to the set.” Taylor said quietly. It seemed as if he was as nervous as I was. “Thanks. Where are we headed?” I asked. “To make – up and then the photo shoot. Are you as nervous as I am?” he asked. “Yeah, which is weird, because you’re used to it.” I said. “Yeah, true. I don’t know what’s going on with me. I guess I feel a little intimidated.” He said. “That’s sweet. Really sweet. Who all is going to be there?” I asked. “And what is the photo shoot about?” I finished, shoving my hands in my sweatshirt pockets. “I think us, Ashley, Nikki, Peter, Kellan, and Alex.” He said. “Sweet. Man, I’m so nervous.” I said. “So, how did you get the gig to compose all the scores for the movie?” he asked. “I tried out, believe it or not. I guess they liked a piece that I made enough.” I said smiling. “Wow, how much time will you have to spend on that?” Taylor asked.

I was still in shock that I was standing next to him. “Once we wrap up filming, I’ll go and work with the orchestra. Hopefully, I can start getting stuff put together in spare time, but I don’t think I’ll have spare time.” I said smiling. “Probably not.” He said smiling. We laughed together and he quickly opened a door for me. “Welcome. This is the make - up room.” He said. I stopped, and looked around and sighed. “Wow. How did you feel when you were first starting? Especially when you were younger. The shark boy and lava girl years?” I asked. “I don’t know. I still get nervous. Like I am right now.” He said. “Well, it’s an honor to be with the coolest werewolf here.” I said.

“I heard that.” A voice said. Alex Meraz walked up and looked at us. “You know, that’s a very bad first impression. Holy Shit, excuse my French, but you. You’re you.” He said. “I’m me?” I said smiling. “Wow, I think I’m star struck.” Alex said. Taylor nodded in agreement. “I feel the same way.” “You’re Acadia Johnson, the youngest composer, and the new composer for the movie.” he asked. “Oh guys, thanks. I appreciate it. Really, but I don’t need any special treatment. I just hope I’m going to fit in, and we’ll be able to make it look like a family so fast.” I said. “I think it’ll go pretty fast. The girls are fans, they’ve been listening to your music for a long time, and it can be difficult to warm up to Nikki and Ashley, and the others.” Alex said smiling. “Oh great. This isn’t helping.” I said. “Welcome to the family,” Alex said laughing. I looked to him and sighed. “Thanks?” I asked. He laughed and opened up his arms to offer a hug. I walked to him, and he gave me a hug. Taylor joined in, and then we sat and waited.

For some reason, the make – up artists weren’t there yet, and the rest of the cast that was coming to the shoot wasn’t there. In what seemed forever, my nerves finally stopped eating at my insides, and then they started to come back in waves as the rest of the cast I was meeting for the photo shoot came in. First it was Kellan Lutz, then Ashley Greene, and after her, another two of my favorite actors, Peter Facinelli and Chaske Spencer.

“Who’s your friend?” Peter asked putting his hand on my shoulder. He gave the same reaction that Alex did when he came in. “Shit, you’re the composer. You’re Acadia?” he asked. “That’s me, and of course I know who you are, it’s nice to meet you Mr.…” “Peter. Please.” He said cutting me off. I extended my hand and we shook hands for a second, and then the photographer, director and make – up artists came in to the room in a hurry. “Okay. You’re all here. Good. Everyone. This is Acadia Johnson. She’s going to be playing the part of Ness. She’s also the composer for all the scores in the movie. I’m sure you know who they are, but there’s Alex, Nikki Ashley, Peter, Kellan, Jackson and Chaske. We’re sorry we’re late, but get in a chair, and we’ll get going.” David said walking towards me. I smiled and extended my hand. “It’s nice to meet you,” he said before I could say the same thing he did. “Thanks. It’s an honor to meet you.” I said smiling. I walked to a free chair, in between Nikki and Ashley, and sat down. I had never realized i had just strictly sat myself down between two girls who would be my best friends. They both smiled at me. “So, how are you feeling?” Nikki was the first to ask. “A little nervous.” I said looking down to my phone, and then up to her. “Okay, I lied, very nervous. This is the first time. This is so weird.” I said.

Although Thanksgiving isn't for about two and a half months, here's my favorite recipe! Spinach Casserole; is perfect for Thanksgiving, but a great Christmas Dish!

Here's what you need:
Crock Pot [1] Cheddar Cheese [2 of the medium smallish one]
Cottage Cheese [2] Cream Cheese [2]
Frozen Chopped Spinach [2]

Cut the cheddar cheese, and cream cheese in small squares, add to cottage cheese and spinach in the crock pot. Cook on high for 4 hours stirring regularly.

Portuguese Sweet Bread

1 1/4 cups very warm milk 1 cup sugar
1 stick unsalted butter (room temperature) 1 teaspoon salt
2 packages active dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar
3 eggs, beaten 5-6 cups all purpose flour
12 uncooked eggs (in shell) 1 egg
1 teaspoon water

Mix one cup of very warm milk (should feel slightly warm when a drop is placed on the inside of your wrist) with 1 cup sugar, 1 stick of unsalted butter and 1 teaspoon of salt in the bowl of an electric mixer with the paddle attachment.


Sprinkle the yeast over the remaining warm milk (in a separate bowl or cup). Add 1 teaspoon sugar. Stir until dissolved. Set aside until yeast is bubbly, about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs until foamy; add eggs and yeast mixture to milk/butter/sugar mixture.

Beat in 5 cups of flour, gradually adding 1 cup at a time until a soft dough forms. Change to dough hook. Knead 5-8 minutes with machine. Turn out onto a clean work surface and continue to knead by hand 1-2 minutes, until dough is smooth. Butter or oil the inside of a non-metallic bowl and place dough inside, turning over once so that dough is coated and won't dry out. Cover with a clean damp towel or plastic wrap, then place in a warm place, free from any drafts.

Allow to rise for about 90 minutes, or until doubled in bulk. Punch dough down. Turn out, again, onto a clean work surface. Divide dough evenly into 12 round pieces and form buns 3/4 inch thich. Arrange on 2 buttered cookie sheets. Make a hollow depression in the center of each with the back of a tablespoon. Press an uncooked egg, gently into the depression. Roll remaining dough into two long thin log shapes and cut into 12 pieces (each). Form each into a thin strip, 6 inches in length. Place two strips over each egg, in criss-cross fashion, being sure to tuck in the ends under the bun.

Allow to rise again for about 45-90 minutes or until doubled in bulk [depends on the temperature in the room.] Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat an egg with 1 teaspoon of water to make a wash; use mixture to gently brush tops of risen buns. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes or til golden. Remove to wire rack to cool. Brush lightly with melted butter.

Homemade Facial mask

Ingredients:

1/4 cup brown sugar
1 - 2 tbsp milk, anything but skim

Instructions:
Mix the two ingredients well. Apply to freshly cleaned face and massage gently for a full minute - leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and pat dry.
